Halloween is upon us and I have costumes to make. We are having one giraffe and one robot in our family. I hope everyone has a great night of fun and frights.
Reminder to folks that we would like to have a Fall/Yule Revel. Please tell us when you can make it. How does December 2nd (Tuesday night) sound to people? Let me know what you think.
Don’t forget that we are starting regular classes on Tuesday nights. If you want to know how to do something or if you want to teach others your favorite craft let me know and we can get the word out.
Other than that the cold weather blues have hit and I want to hibernates. Sleep is such a wonderful thing.
Sorry this Milestone is late. Things just sort of happened.. over and over again.. I’ll do better next month.

Reports:
Seneschal: Got a few files from Winnifred but we still need to get the war banner. Adam finished the list field posts (30 ground posts and 4 free standing) Thank you Adam. Margried said that Tiffaine has the legs to the nice wooden clothing rack. So all we will need to do is make a new rod.
Exchequer: 2 checks have been written for the storage unit. We have 4372.95 at the present. All is well.
Herald: Talked to Agnes about a name and got a nice “butch and bold” wolf drawn for Adam’s device.
A&S: We have a class schedule sign up for Tuesday nights if you have any classes you want to teach let me know. On tap this month we have courtly graces and next month we will have beginning illumination.
Acting Chatelaine: Gathered the gold key together and will bring it Nov 2nd practice to inventory for going into the storage unit.
Historian: Trying to get living history book done. If anyone has old stories write them for me. Alan is taking over the head shots and persona’s project.
Chancellor Minor: Not much going on finding out the costs for boffer weapons. Meadhbh said at the Novice Schola that we can help the kids make swords on Sundays from 1- 2
Master of Fence: 4 practices since last meeting, slowly getting more and more at each practice. Even had two from Bergantal.
Web: Not present
Acting Chronicler: Typed the notes and posted a new chronicle for September.
MOL: Not present.
Policy Meeting: We had our meeting and we got pretty far. We decided to off load the discussion to a Yahoo list to try to avoid another meeting.. Nothing has happened on the list if it does not take off and discuss the issues we will close the list and be forced to have another meeting. Sorry guys. We are almost done lets just finish it.
Coronation: A Kings Cypher was given to Duchess Katherine from Darius. Congratulations.
Worcester Practice: Getting good turn out for it. Another open house on Friday. The directions are wrong on our site. We will put out a sign to make it more noticeable.
Drumming Workshops: Getting good turn out Margired is on stand by for her dad. Meadhbh will step in if she has to leave.
Publicity and Recruitment: We need a flyer to hand out at our practice. Anna is looking into creating a nice brochure for us. But in the mean time we need something quick and dirty. Anton will put one together short term.
Storage: Inventory what you put in and sign out what you take out. Simple as that.
Children’s Boffer:. Is Duke Randal available to hold a practice? Not for a couple more weeks.
Knight Marshall Position: Sir Kai is not going to put his name in for consideration. He cannot make a consistent commitment out of his busy life right now. Anton has put in his letter. Move to vote Anton is voted our new Knight Marshall. Congrats Anton.
Boredom War Bid by Christina: Voted and passes. Budget is $1830 as an estimate. We will be charging $15 adult weekend $8 day trip and $1 for kids 12 and under babes free.
We will be serving a day board on Saturday.
Feast fee will be $10 for and adult and $5 for 12 and under. Babes free.
Breakfast both days. Saturday morning will be French toast and Sunday will be pancakes To benefit the Queens tea Fund.
Haffla: Would hosting a Haffla for Middle Eastern be ok on some Sunday. We will work out the details later.
Our Windows:
They are cumbersome and the have transportation and storage issues. What do we want to do with them? Anton suggests an auction at Boredom War. Good idea. Eleanor le Brun and Isabel will go and get them this week and put them into our storage locker.
When would we like to do this. It would be our “12th Night” all rolled into one. We would like to do it in November. Find out when the new people can come. Eleanor le Brun will take care of finding a date that is good for people.
12:00 to 5:00. $5 to use the facilities.
End of term dates:
We need to collect them from old officers to keep track of when an office expires. Eleanor le Brun has most of them she will make a list of what we know and who needs to update their office end date.
