Officer Reports
Seneschal:
“Lots of things” (sent letters of intent for new officers, paid storage unit, emails, etc)

Exchequer:
• Bob Barnes needs to cash his check or it will be voided. Request for receipt from Knight Marshall
• Year end packet has been received.
• Agnes de Calais has volunteered to be deputy exchequer
• Emails have to be changed, new links on site.
• Bank is now charging monthly maintenance fee (which is wrong for a non-profit organization).

Herald:
• Damian’s name has been submitted
• Antonio’s name has been confirmed as submitted.

Knight Marshal:
(Not present, sent in report):
• Regional practice had over 50 fighters attending
• Birka tournament was attended by 4 Quintavians, standings reported.
• We will not be able to use the Leominister site any more; we are searching for other locations for the regional fighter practice. One possibility was mentioned.

Marshal of Fence:
• We are getting a punch tester, checking with Kingdom for suitability.
• There were four practices in the last month; there will be more this month.
• We will try to get Agnes de Calais authorized this month.

Mistress of Arts and Science:
• Planning is under way for the Quintavian Queen’s box; requests are made to for contributions.
• Northern Lights is coming up at the end of March.
• Marshal will be going to the Birginthol Nova Schola
• An article on making garb is being produced.

Chatelaine:
• Four people are interested in joining the Shire.
• At Birka the invitation sheet was prepared and passed out.
• There is a request for additions to Gold Keys

Historian:
• Will be gone for the next week

Minister of Youth:
• Lord Alan donated $36 worth of activity books, sticker books, and other items that have been added to the Shire’s equipment
• There will be more boffer equipment added, Meadhbh is donating her children’s’ equipment as they outgrow it.

Web Minister:
• Will probably be moving at the beginning of March. Lady Rosa has volunteered to be deputy Web minister, to insure continuity of the Web site.
• The minutes for the December and January meetings are now posted.
• Working on a password-protected content management system so other officers will be able to update the relevant areas of the Web site.

Chronicler:
• The minutes posted on the Net do not have the Calligrapher font, I am sending the font to Isabel and Antonio to see if it can be integrated into the Web page or a similar font, common to most computers, can be used.


Old Business:
• Minister of Lists Duncan Forbes is resigning the position, so the position is open.
• Lord Coilean received the AOA award at Birka.
• Lady Thora Ravenhair was awarded the Silver Crescent at Birka.
• Fighters were in tourney at Birka
• Lady Eleanor’s family won the fashion show for their category at Birka.

• Coilean is to be authorized for siege weapons.


New Business:
• Antonio has made an indoor banner stand; it will be used exclusively for indoor display.
• Master Graywolf has indicated that Lord Harold Orn could be a marshal of Siege Weapons.
• A motion was proposed by Lord Alan and seconded by Lady Meadhbh to create an office of Marshal of Siege Weapons. The motion was passed.
• A motion was made by Lady Rosa and seconded by Lord Alan to make Lord Harold Orn a Provisional Marshal of Siege Weapons. The motion was passed.
• Agnes de Calais has volunteered to co-ordinate the day board for a March Revel. It will probably be held on a Sunday this time; we may alternate between Sunday and Tuesday to accommodate various members’ schedules.
• Damian proposed and Christina seconded a motion to allot $100.00 to make new Shire tablecloths. The motion was passed, as the current tablecloths are pretty much worn out.
• Lady Rosa reports that Ren of La Wren’s Nest wants to come play here in the shire.
• A Brewer’s class was discussed.
• A proposal was made to create a Storyteller’s Guild. A separate meeting of people who want to work on the guilds is going to be held, at a time to be determined.
• A proposal was made to create a Marshal of Thrown Weapons. Lady Rosa d’Oro Murano has offered to take the position.
• Lady Rosa d’Oro Murano is planning to submit a letter of intent for the position
• Dhanwanti will be housing some personal targets.
• A proposal was made by Lady Isabel and seconded by Lady Meadhbh to have Lady Eleanor to run an event for next year that will involve a small day board for $5 at the door. The motion was passed.
• Countess KayLeigh Drake has requested that the Shire run the day board at the East Kingdom Academy of Rapier on June 27th. They offered a 50/50 split of the proceeds. THL Lloyd of Penrose suggested that since we’ll be doing all the work, we should ask that at least 75% of the profits go to the Shire. The suggestion was approved, and Lady Meadhbh, Lady Eleanor and Sofia have volunteered to help Lady Isabel.
• Lord Harold Orn has made a request for many East Kingdom fighters to attend the April 22-25 Blackstone Raids in Virginia, to help us even out the numbers of fighters. Fighters that are interested may contact Lord Harold or the Knight Marshall, Lord Anton le Flamme d' Saint Aubin.
