•The Royals were happy to receive the gifts that were sent to them.
• Working on setting up a Leather class.
•' Favors form the Shire. Ideas are welcome. Discussed favors as a pin with ribbon, to be worn on shoulder

Knight Marshall
•Will have backup marshal for practices.
•A new person from WPI is interested in fighting with us.
•We may have some Bergantal fighters practicing here, they seem to have lost a site.

Minister of Fence:
• Practices are still going on.
• Toi is now a beginning fencer.

Minister of Siege:
•On the 18th we had a Siege Meeting, with a good turnout. The next one is the 15th of February.
•The Birka siege meeting went overtime. There's an East Kingdom Siege Engineers guild.
•Next tuesday (jan. 18th) there is a siege meeting for all who are interested in learning about the art of Siege Warfare.
•On March 6th, The Revel will feature small siege engines, with a competition.

Chatelaine:
• The Storage unit is frozen shut. It'll need some work to get into it.
• Gold Key has aquired a cape.
• There is some children's garb that needs trimming.
• There is a promise of a donation from Rosa D'Oro

Web mistress: (Email Report)
•Has sent a report to the East Kingdom. • The Hosting problem has been resolved. We'lll continue to be a sub-domain of the East Kingdom domain.
•The February and March schedules are up.
• There is a new template under developement for the Shire Web Site.
• There will be a section on thrown weapons.

Chronicler:
•Email confusion is now fixed.
•Has emailed Gallery of Hafla photographs to the list.

Old Business:

Cleanup at the Hafla was a problem, it is necessary to have a specific crew assigned to cleaning up a site after an event. It is possible to lose the use of the site if we leave a mess for their staff to clean up. All autocrats will have to assign a specific cleanup crew for the end of each event.

During the Exchequer Symposium, Alan cleaned up the after the Hafla (kitchen), which had not been sufficiently done.

Donation supported events cannot have a specific donation required. A sign can say “donations greatly appreciated” but may not list a minimum required amount.

The Exchequer Symposium went well, Quintavia was used as the example for demonstrating the conduct of the finances.There will be an Exchequer class at the East Kingdom University.

There was an equestrian meeting at Birka, and Quintavia was asked if we would host an event. Her Grace asked if Quintavia would host the event, it is expected that there will be around 75 people attending.

New Business:

Damian proposed and Harold seconded a motion to accept Vickie as the new Historian. The motion passed unanimously.

Quintavia is planning to eventually have a working siege engine and some interesting ammunition to throw.

Site maps for the East Kingdom University were passed around. The classrooms are close together and there is plenty of parking.

Bergantal is having a Nova Schola on February 26th.

It was discussed that when we have a Revel or an event, it’s fun to attempt to speak in persona as well as dress in garb.

The Girl Scout demo is upcoming, the Girl Scouts are very excited about the event. We are going to wear our best garb.

Boredom War will need some help at troll. We will also need a specific clean-up crew, to make sure the site is left in good shape.
