  • Our next scheduled business meeting is Sunday, August 23rd @ 12 pm  and we have planned to combine that with the Summer Shire Revel.  We are planning a pot-luck picnic style Revel this time, weather permitting outside at the Millbury School.  Please bring a dish for the pot-luck, chairs, tables, (sunshade if you wish) your feast gear and Garb is optional.  Fencers, Fighters and A&S type activities will be happening as well as the shire business meeting. If you could email me and Lady Toi with an idea of what you might be bringing to pass that would be helpful.

  • Now that Pennsic war is over it is time to begin planning in earnest for Crown Tourney of their Highnesses Konrad von Ulm and Brenwen the Faire.  We have a little over 2 months to get organized for this very important Royal Progress.  We will be hosting Crown Tourney at the Camp Marshall in Spencer, MA where we hosted Crossroads at Cantebury 2 years ago.  Our Event Steward will be Lady Elizabeth Reed, who is new to our shire so please those of you who wish to volunteer please email her at  elizabeth @ rigitech . com

  • We have been invited to participate in the West Boylston Fall Festival on Saturday, October 3rd.  The organizer was our contact for the West Boylston Scout demo we did a couple of summers ago and they are very keen to have us back.  I will be organizing this demo so those interested in volunteering please contact me directly.  I'd like to have several people working on projects along with a display of finished projects for our booth as well as fencers or fighters who may be able to come and take turns on the field area they will set aside for us.
  • Shire activities will begin again in earnest starting next week Monday night Fencing & Sewing Circle, Tuesday night Heavy list practice at the Millbury School.  Sundays will resume shortly at the Stow location for Fencing, Archery and Thrown Weapons, please contact the marshals for details and to confirm.
  • We have an open office we will be accepting letters of intent for a new Chronicler, anyone interested should contact me directly.
